Deaf UK & Ireland Academics

Deaf UK and Ireland Academics (DUKIA) was set up in 2005 in order to bring together deaf academics studying or working in the UK and Ireland.

It is a well known fact that deaf academics often work in settings without deaf peers for professional and emotional support, and the DUKIA group aims to provide the space for such academics to support each other and share information.
